Texas Mobile Bartending Company Focuses on Community, Creativity and Celebration
MEET ASIA AND BRI, OWNERS OF LUXE LIBATIONS!!!

HOUSTON, TEXAS–Founded on a passion for mixology and bringing people together, the company blends creativity, hospitality, and celebration into every experience they create. What began as a fun venture serving drinks for friends and peers quickly evolved into a thriving business built on their love for handcrafted cocktails and the unforgettable atmosphere they bring to gatherings and events. Today, they continue to turn ordinary moments into memorable experiences through their unique approach to cocktails, entertainment, and community.
Founder Baileigh Sheffield took the time to sit down and talk with owners Asia and Bri. And here is what the ladies had to say: “We are Luxe Libations LLC. It is a luxury mobile bartending service based in Houston, Texas–but is available throughout the state of Texas. We bring the experience of a full bar to any event, whether that be at a venue or in the comfort of your home. You can expect the highest caliber of professionalism, quality service, and a personalized good time.
Asia and Bri are two best friends who met in college working at a local college bar. We had such an unforgettable time interacting with guests and crafting cocktails that we just knew we had to take our experiences to the next level. So in July 2024, we launched Luxe Libations LLC.
Mobile bar experiences are becoming more common and popular as people are moving towards hosting events in new and exciting ways. Our goal as a company is to grow as our clientele grows and anticipate the changes so that we can stay ahead of the tide.
We began the journey with just an idea and a small understanding of the tiny details that would go into the process from filing our business name, to creating our packages and how to market ourselves. In the beginning, only one of us lived in Houston, so that was a challenge in and of itself regarding how we handle day to day business. Even today with almost 2 years of business under our belt, we are still learning the best ways to handle different situations. But I think that is what makes us different, we aren’t afraid to change things up when what we originally planned isn’t working.
We have made it a point to not focus so much on the big events that we may be missing out on, but giving our attention to securing loyal repeat customers. For us, that has been the most rewarding path, because it is consistent business we can expect.
The most rewarding part of owning our own business is the freedom to present our most authentic selves in all that we do. We don’t have to be boxed in or confined by anyone else’s parameters. We present exactly as Asia and Bri and our clients love that about us.
The biggest lesson we’ve learned as women entrepreneurs is that you have to trust yourself. People may tell you that you’re incapable of doing things the way you want, that you may not be successful, or that you should do it another way, but you just have to trust in your plan.
Balancing the business and our personal lives is like a rollercoaster. We take everything as it comes but try to have fun with it. The most important thing we do is dedicate time to each facet. When it’s time to work on Luxe, we focus on that 100%. When it’s time to focus on the family, we don’t bring the business into the equation.
Go for it. Do the research, determine what makes you different or how you can improve that field and just do it. Every successful business had to start somewhere. You’ll never know what may come of it if you never start.
Our goal for Luxe is to eventually open up a physical bar of our own in Houston. We want to come full circle and get back to what brought us together in the first place.”

Blossom Counseling Provides Trauma-Informed Mental Health Care in North Texas

ALLEN, Texas — Through Blossom Counseling, PLLC, therapist and founder Lily is creating a safe and supportive space for individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and codependency.
Based in Allen, Texas, Blossom Counseling offers in-person therapy for clients across North Texas as well as virtual counseling services for residents throughout the state. As a solo practitioner, Lily focuses on a trauma-informed and relational approach designed to help clients feel understood, empowered and emotionally safe.
“Mental health is such an important part of overall wellness,” Lily said. “Many people are carrying unresolved trauma or survival patterns that continue to impact their relationships, emotions and daily lives. My goal is to help clients move beyond simply surviving and begin truly healing.”
Although owning a private practice had long been a personal goal, the journey to entrepreneurship took years of preparation. Before launching Blossom Counseling in fall 2023, Lily spent six years working at a group practice in Dallas, gaining clinical experience and developing confidence as a therapist.
“I always knew I wanted to have my own practice,” she said. “After several years of experience and mentorship, I finally felt ready to take that step.”
The timing also aligned with major changes in her personal life, including preparing to welcome her daughter. Opening her own practice allowed her the flexibility to prioritize both family and career while maintaining greater control over her schedule.
Like many entrepreneurs, one of the biggest challenges came not from the counseling work itself, but from learning the business side of running a private practice.
“Graduate school teaches you how to be a clinician, but not necessarily how to run a business,” she said. “Building everything from the ground up was intimidating at first.”
To navigate those challenges, she leaned on mentorship, professional networking and continued education while steadily refining her niche and strengthening her trauma-informed approach.
Since its launch, Blossom Counseling has continued to evolve as Lily has become more intentional about the clients she serves and the boundaries she sets within her practice.
“I’ve learned to trust my instincts more,” she said. “That has helped me ensure I’m working with clients who are the best fit for my expertise and training.”
For Lily however, the most rewarding aspect of owning her business is witnessing the transformation clients experience throughout therapy.
“Seeing people heal, become more grounded in their relationships and feel safer within themselves is incredibly moving,” she said. “It’s truly a privilege to walk alongside someone during those moments.”
As a woman entrepreneur, she says one of the biggest lessons she has learned is that growth often requires stepping outside of comfort zones.
“I’ve realized that you don’t always have to feel completely ready before taking action,” she said. “A lot of growth comes from allowing yourself to be visible anyway.”
Balancing entrepreneurship, motherhood and personal wellness remains an ongoing practice rather than a fixed destination. She credits flexibility, boundaries and intentional rest as key parts of maintaining that balance.
Looking ahead, Lily hopes to continue providing high-quality trauma-informed care while also expanding conversations surrounding trauma, attachment and relational healing.
“I want these topics to feel more accessible and relatable for people,” she said. “Healing should never feel out of reach.”
For women considering entrepreneurship but feeling uncertain, her advice is simple: start before you feel fully ready.
“Fear doesn’t mean you aren’t capable,” she said. “Usually, it means you care. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin.”

Meet of Jennifer Serra Beauty Team:
Building Beauty, Confidence, and a Brand With Purpose

What began as an unexpected career path has grown into one of the most respected professional hair and makeup teams working across luxury, corporate, entertainment, and media spaces today.
The Jennifer Serra Beauty Team has become known not only for delivering polished beauty services, but also for bringing professionalism, adaptability, and heart to every client experience.
Comprised of highly skilled hair and makeup artists, the Jennifer Serra Beauty Team has worked with government officials, athletes, major pageant titleholders, television personalities, advertising campaigns, and other high-profile professionals.
Their work goes far beyond traditional beauty services — the team prides itself on understanding each client’s specific needs and crafting looks that align with their industry, brand, and purpose.
For founder Jennifer Serra, however, the journey into entrepreneurship was anything but planned.
“This business was a complete accident,” Serra shares. “But I saw more opportunity here than what I was doing before.”
Originally pursuing a career in nursing, Serra worked part-time in the beauty industry while attending nursing school. After struggling to find passion in the medical field, she made the difficult decision to walk away from that path entirely — a moment she describes as both defeating and transformative.
“I thought I was never going to make a difference in the world again,” she says. “But looking back now, I realize I should have followed my passion from the beginning.”
After leaving nursing school, Serra quickly found success on the corporate side of the beauty industry. Her natural ability to connect with people, market products, and lead teams helped her rise through the ranks of major cosmetic brands. Consistently ranking among the top sellers nationwide, she later transitioned into training and developing teams across multiple territories.
“When you love what you do, it comes naturally,” Serra explains.
By 2018, Serra realized she had developed the skills necessary to build something of her own. While freelancing as a makeup artist on the side, she recognized a gap many creatives struggle with — the business side of beauty.
“If I could hit massive sales goals for these major brands, I knew I could do it for myself,” she says.
Launching her own business came with enormous risk. At the time, Serra was pregnant, raising children, and operating with limited resources. Still, she took the leap.
“I would never recommend someone quit their job with as little as I had,” she laughs. “But it forces you to sharpen your critical thinking skills quickly. Every penny had a purpose.”
Within six months of launching, the Jennifer Serra Beauty Team had already expanded to include additional artists — including one she personally trained from scratch.
Today, the company has evolved into a highly respected beauty brand trusted by an impressive range of clients and industries. Whether preparing executives for keynote speeches, creating polished looks for television appearances, styling luxury photoshoots, or working with content creators and public figures, the team approaches every project with intentionality and strategy.
“It’s beyond just hair and makeup,” Serra explains. “We study and research every job so we can fully understand the client’s needs. That critical thinking skill is what sets us apart.”
Like many entrepreneurs, Serra acknowledges that building a brand without corporate backing came with challenges. From handling operations to marketing and client management, she quickly learned that entrepreneurship requires resilience, patience, and adaptability.
“You are the janitor, HR, and the CEO all at once,” she says. “You won’t always see results immediately, but you keep showing up anyway.”
One of the biggest lessons she’s learned as a woman entrepreneur is the importance of delegation and balance.
“Just because women CAN do everything doesn’t mean we always have to,” Serra says. “Learning to let go of certain tasks actually allows you to grow more.”
As the business continues to thrive, Serra says this current season feels less about constantly proving herself and more about appreciating how far the company has come.
“There was a time when we had to build everything from scratch,” she says. “Now we’ve built a reputation that allows us to be selective about who we work with. It’s such an honor to reflect on everything we’ve built.”
While working with high-profile clients has been rewarding, Serra says the most meaningful experiences come from connecting with people who are passionate about making an impact.
“The most rewarding part is meeting individuals who genuinely care about humanity and their purpose in this world,” she says. “I truly believe you attract who you are, and I’d like to think that reflects the heart and soul we put into our work.”
Looking ahead, Serra’s focus for the future is simple: meaningful connection.
“This year is really about connecting with others without a business motive attached,” she says. “I believe what’s meant for me will always be there for me.”
For women considering entrepreneurship but feeling uncertain, Serra offers one piece of advice: trust yourself.
“Strike while the iron’s hot,” she says. “Listen to your intuition. If something keeps pulling you toward a different path, lean into it.”
Through resilience, faith, and a willingness to take risks, Jennifer Serra transformed an unexpected opportunity into a thriving beauty brand — one built not only on artistry, but on purpose, passion, and perseverance.
